He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Sowers and Helen Sowers (Swank); his wife Sherrie Anne Sowers (Gessler); his son Rick Sowers; and his brothers, Galen Sowers, Alonzo Sowers and Stephen Sowers.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy, Mysti Zink of Xenia, Brian Zink of Dayton, Melissa Marks of Dayton, Jennifer, Todd Stiver of Arcanum, Janemarie Sowers of Moraine, Phil and Kaye Sowers of Laura; his former wife Regina Webb of Florida; and also Paul Sowers of Piqua. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers.
