He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Royster and Ruby Anderson Royster; and his brother Jack Royster. He is survived by: his son Michael Benson (Kelly) of Latham; the mother of his child Lavanda Benson; and his siblings, James Anderson (Kathy) of Buchanan, Johnny Royster of West Union, Ohio, Joann Ferguson of Dayton and Clair Ross (Charlie) of West Union, Ohio. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
