He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Conaway and Evelyn Conaway (Karel); and his sister Jill Kroflich. He is survived by: his siblings, Jeri Conaway, Jon Conaway (Jo) of Bellaire and Jacci Clark of Lansing; and his brother-in-law Joseph Kroflich. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
