It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rex Shenefield of Langsville, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on May 12, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Shenefield and Clara Shenefield; and his sister Phyllis Shenefield. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Shenefield; his children, Carl "Root" Shenefield (Lue) of Langsville, Ohio and Linda Vaughan (Roy) of Langsville, Ohio; his grandchildren, Laurie Esparza (Rolando), Denise Hill (Kevin), Crystal Hull (Jason) and Bridget Wright (Bradley); his great grandchildren, Ryan Esparza (Samantha Haning), Lydia, Ethan Grimm, Makenna, Riley, Emma Hull and Alexander Wright; his nephew Brad Emmons; and also Lodge. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
