She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Colwell and Everett Colwell; her husband Rex E. Shenefield; and her siblings, John Colwell, David Colwell, Dorothy Emmons, Margaret Colwell and Mary Colwell.
She is survived by: her children, Carl "Root" Shenefield (Lue) of Langsville, Ohio and Linda Vaughan (Roy) of Langsville, Ohio; her grandchildren, Laurie Esparza (Rolando), Denise Hill (Kevin), Crystal Hull (Jason) and Bridget Wright (Bradley); her great grandchildren, Ryan Esparza (Samantha Hanning), Lydia, Ethan Grimm, Makenna, Riley, Emma Hull and Alexander Wright; and her nephew Brad Emmons. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
