It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Cox (Lancaster, Ohio), born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on October 18, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil A. "Pete" and Charlotte Royal Lyons Cox; and his sister Debra Hafer. He is survived by: his children, Waynette Cox of Greenfield, Tony Cox of Wellston and Travis Cox of Wellston; his grandchildren, Alexandria Cox of Wellston and Connor Cox of Wellston; and his siblings, Theodore (Becky), Michael Cox (Cindy) of Gold Canyon, Arizona and Sheila Skatzes (Brent) of Sunbury. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Wayne L. Cox may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
