He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his son Matthew Nichols; his grandchildren, Tristan and Olivia Nichols; his great grandchildren, Delaney and Roman Nichols; and his sisters, Rhonda Long (Tom) and Rita Young. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
