He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Pompey (Standish) and Micheal J. Pompey. He is survived by: his brother Francis Pompey; his wife Diane Pompey (Lewis); and his siblings, Leo Pompey, William Pompey, Michael Pompey, Mary Martha Pompey-House, Patricia Pompey-Satiroff and Margaret Pompey-House. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
