With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma (Smith) Simon of Lancaster, Ohio, who passed away on August 2, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William F. Simon; her parents, Charles Oliver Smith and Bertha Mae Smith; and her brothers, Charles Oliver and Sanford Preston Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Jean Lobmiller (James), Patrick Simon (Kim), Vincent Simon (Carmen) and Kathleen Simon. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Velma's name to Alzheimer's Association Central Ohio Chapter, 1379 Dublin Road Columbus, Ohio 43215 or to the Fairfield Area Humane Society 1721 Granville Pike, Lancaster, OH 43130.
