He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin and Florence Franklin; his daughter Katrina Schumacher; and his great grandchild Bodhi Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Mike Franklin (Amy) and Cindy Shumaker (Scott); and his sisters, Sharon Crosby (Lloyd) and Susan Cann (Bill). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
