He was predeceased by: his parent Michael; his wife Jane Cave; his siblings, Tom Waits (Pat), Bill Waits (Fern) and Treva Cave; and his great grandchild Joseph Mullins.
He is survived by: his brothers, Michael "Mickey" Waits (Brenda) of Lancaster, Michael "Rick" Cave of Logan and Jack Cave (Vivian) of Thornville. He is also survived by Eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 3 step-children; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
