She was predeceased by: her husband Quentin F. Stultz II; and her brother-in-law William Stultz. She is survived by: her children, Steven Stultz (Trish) and Sandra Herzog (Thomas); her grandchildren, Matthew Quentin Stultz, Michael Charles Stultz, James Quentin Herzog and Emily Maurine Herzog; and her sisters-in-law, Lester Bingaman (Ruth), Gretchen Rosenbrook (Dennis) of East Lansing and Joan Stultz of Overland Park, Kansas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Brain Injury Association of America, the or the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute in Shirley's name.
