She was predeceased by: her parents, David Fail and Marcella Fail (Potts); her husband Harry D. Gierhart; and her brother David B. Fail. She is survived by: her children, Mark Gierhart (Rebecca) of Lancaster, Dennis Gierhart (Catherine) of Lancaster, Christine Gierhart of Lancaster and Timothy Gierhart of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Flowers (Eric), Andrew Gierhart (Erica), Alex Chenoweth (Tina), Sara Behrens (Randy), Leslie Gierhart (Todd Konkler), Cody Gierhart, Jessie Hendricks, Tobias Gierhart and Christian Gierhart; and her great grandchildren, Caraline Flowers, Kain Behrens, Mackenzie, Hadley Konkler and Beau Gierhart.
