He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Runco and Bertha Runco; his former life partner Helen Runco (Betty); his daughter Mary Ann Runco; and also, Samuel and Mary Josephine Mauger.

He is survived by : his wife Ruth; his daughters, Mary Beth Marcinko (Jim), Kim Runco and Jackie Kidder (Alan); his sister Joanne; his brother-in-law Jack George; his grandchildren, James Marcinko (Amber), Sara Peters (Matt), Jonathan Marcinko and Emma Marcinko; his great grandchildren, Lylee, Chloe Marcinko, Eli, Finn and Gracie Peters; his stepgrandchildren, Andrew Snoke (Cassie) and Elizabeth Snoke; and his stepgreat-grandchild McKenzie Snoke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial gifts may be given to the American Cancer Society towards Kidney Cancer Research, or St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
