He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Harold and Betty Mundy. He is survived by: his mother Melissa Mundy; his brother Hunter Ricketts (Maggie); his stepfather Doug Ricketts; his father Mitch Gaar; his grandmother Zelpha Barnhart; and his aunts and uncles, Bill Mundy (Lynne), Lynette McFarland (Larry), Becky Hammond (Scott), Richard Mundy (Kevin Long), Brenda Shoemaker (George) and Dale Weaver. He is also survived by many cousins and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to help the family with expenses.
