He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Leroy Lane and Mary Margaret Kemp Lane; his wife Diane Gower Lane; and his brother Timothy. He is survived by: his children, Darren of Lancaster, Alex Lane (Sarah) of Chesterfield, VA and Joanna Lane Javed of Louisville, KY; his granddaughters, Mikaela, Cameron Lane and Samira Javed; his brother Richard; his sister-in-law Emily Thimmes Lane of Raleigh, NC; and his sister Donna M. Lane Gavin of Portland, OR. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
