He is survived by: his wife Mary C. Stai (Berger); his children, Kathy Dalton, Elizabeth Cox, Peggy Griffin (Michael), Jeff Stai (Cindy), Mary McCall (James), Julie Trimble (Joe), Theresa Faulkner (Jack), Richard Stai Jr (Cheryl) and John Stai; and his stepchildren, Matthew Phillips, Heather Johanson and Michael Phillips (Julie). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
