She was predeceased by: her husband Dan F. Birtcher Jr.; and her children, Donald Brooks, Ronald Lynn Balo and Pete Birtcher. She is survived by: her grandparents, Eli Bowen and Emma Chaney Bowen; her children, Donna Johnston, Diana Smith, Lori Castro, Tracy Birtcher, Dawn Weber, Tamye Rice and Todd Brooks; and her sister Wanda Pierce. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
