Paul Mathias Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2024, Paul Mathias of Lancaster, Ohio, born in Baltimore, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Mathias and May Kane Mathias; his brothers, Harold, Loren, Richard, John, Jimmie and Dale Mathias; his half-brother Donald Mathias; his sisters, Mable Durant, Virginia Landis, Helen Landis and Jean Webb; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Van Dyke and Tony Sayers.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Van Dyke Mathias; his children, Lisa Nees (Martin) of Wentzville, Missouri and Paul Mathias (Kimberly) of Baltimore, Ohio; his stepchildren, Bryan Bowersox (Laura) of Lancaster, Ohio and Kaye Goldbach (Jim) of Paoli, Pennsylvania; his brother Ronald Mathias of Spring Grove, Illinois; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Mathias, Mary Mathias of Baltimore, Ohio, Judy Escue (Steve) of Aiken and Janet Sayers of Albany, Ohio.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews.
