He was predeceased by: his daughter Marie Patricia Murnane; and his siblings, Thomas Murnane and Mary Ann Murnane. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Murnane (Falter); his children, Kelly Sedler (Timothy), Katherine Elliot, Kerry Murnane and Sean Murnane; his grandchildren, Moira, Ryan, Sara Elliot and Alyssa Sedler; his siblings, Karen Luckhaupt (Timothy), Patricia Cornwell (Jeffrey) and James Murnane (Patricia); his sister-in-law Kathryn Murnane of Kevin Luckhaupt; and also Godson of Kevin Luckhaupt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Shamrock Club Msgr.
