He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Tipple and Ruth Tipple (Hyme); his siblings, Gilbert, Robert and Nancy Gifford; and his grandson Jacob Moses.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Tipple (Wing); his children, Mike Tipple (Brandi), Melissa Moses (Thomas) and Molly Savage (David); his grandchildren, Bethany Tipple, Tylor Tipple, Abe Moses, Makaila Moses, Kaylee Savage, Madelyn Savage, Bobby Savage, Eli Shell and Cali Shell; his great grandchildren, Kayson and Cecilia; and his sisters, Joyce Alhaus and Janet Harris (Freddie).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sheridan Funeral Home (222 S Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130). A vigil service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption (132 S High St, Lancaster, OH 43130).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MID-OHIO FOOD PANTRY, 3960 Brookham Dr., Grove City, Ohio 43123.
