She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hendershot and Leona Spitler Hendershot; and her brother Gary Hendershot. She is survived by: her husband Dale; her children, Julie Van Meter (Richard), Rodney "Buzz" McManus (Stephanie) and Rob McManus (Melinda); her grandchildren, Bryan Barnes (Cameron), Emily Russell (Phillip), Haydn, Cody, Tyler McManus and Alex Van Meter; her brother Robert Hendershot (Sherry); her niece Becky Huber (Alan); and her nephews, Phillip, Michael (Patricia) and Jesse Hendershot (Becky).
The family prefers that memorial contributions be directed to the Fairfield Heritage Association, 105 E. Wheeling Street, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
