He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell S. Blaney, and Marion Blaney, Sr. (Cline); his wife Loretta Blaney; and his siblings, Marveen, Marian, Russell Jr., Ellen, Robert, Carolyn, Theodore, Charles, Becky, Tania and Alice.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Blaney, Tamera Kennedy, Jennifer Messerly (Bill), Thomas Blaney, Barbara Culbertson (Robert) and John Blaney (Michele); his grandchildren, Martha Rose, Lydia Jo, Allison, Emily, Megan, Hannah, Katie, Morgan, Andrew, John, Zachary and Quinn; his great grandchildren, Jensen, Eliza, Olivia, Boden, Liam, Michael, Lily Rose, Charlie and Owen; and his siblings, Kermit Blaney (Theo), Jim Blaney (Joyce) and Martha Ann Quire. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
