He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his children, Teresa and Little John; and his parents, Anson Altizer and Virgie Altizer.
He is survived by: his children, David Altizer (Linda), Lisa Nhan (Mike Mills), Mary A. Hill (Gene) and Donna Altizer (Claude Stanley). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
