He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. and Edda L. Pierce, Sr. (Corsi). He is survived by: his children, Stefanie Pierce and Shane Pierce; his grandchildren, Corbin and Kirra; and his siblings, Anna Norris (Gary), Gary Pierce (Tonya), Robert Pierce, Theresa Marshall, Rod Pierce and Tina Fant (David). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
