He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Henderly and Mabel Henderly (Ott); his former wife Ethel Henderly (Beatty); his wife Dorothy Henderly (Raver); and his siblings, Ivo, Lawrence, Frank, Fred, Bob, Gladys, Eva, Edith and Mary.

He is survived by: his children, Deborah Dale (Jeffrey) of Lancaster, Carolyn McCamon (Terry) of Oklahoma, Edward Henderly (Karen) of Lancaster, Joyce Brackbill (Jack) of Lancaster and Jill Hall (Matt) of Pleasantville; and his brother Bill Henderly of Sandusky. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
