He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Acton and Rita Acton (Lally); his stepson Benny VanGundy; and his brothers, Thomas Acton and Paul Acton.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Acton (Ricketts); his sisters, Mary Ann Alexinas (David), Janet Acton and Linda Tennison (Dean); and his sister-in-law Barbara Acton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family appreciate any donations be given to the Maywood Missions or the Lancaster Festival in John's memory.
