It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of JoAnn Mowery of Lancaster, Ohio, born in Jefferson, Ohio, who passed away on July 14, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Shupe and Kathryn Shupe (Brobst); her husband Wendell Mowery; her son Alan Mowery; her daughter-in-law Barbara Mowery; her granddaughter Tiffany Mowery; and her siblings, George Nelson Shupe, Howard Shupe, Max Shupe, Betty Schneider and Mary Ann Shupe.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Crews (Randy) of Texas and Brenda Mowery (Maureen Steiner) of Arizona; her grandchildren, Tracey Eismon and Randall Crews Jr. (Taryn Wolford); her daughter-in-law Melissa Mowery; and her friend Neva Nameth of Lancaster. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; many beloved nieces and nephews.
