It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Mathews of Lancaster, Ohio, born in Pleasantville, Ohio, who passed away on July 26, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Duddleson and Hattie Duddleson (Kesterson); her husband James G. Mathews, Sr.; her son-in-law Larry Schorr Jr.; her grandson Raheem Kerens; and her siblings, Charles, Mary, Bobby, Katie and Jeannie.
She is survived by: her children, James Mathews (Paula) of Lancaster, Bonny Schorr of Lancaster, Urlin "Danny" Mathews (Kathy) of Grove City, Sue Ann Kerens (Earl) of Lancaster and Becky Miller (Randy) of Malta, OH; and her sisters, Sylvia, Peggy, Velma, Kay and Shirley. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to FAIRHOPE Hospice or to a charity of the donor's choice in Helen's memory.
