He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Landis and Frances Landis; his wife JoAnn; his son-in-law Paul E. Dwyer; and his siblings, Jim, Frederick and Polly.
He is survived by: his children, Shery Kern (K. C.), Lynn Landis (Linda) and Trisha Dwyer; his grandchildren, Brandon Kern (Amie), Nick Landis (Meagan), Nathaniel Landis (Lauren), Zach Kern, Austin Kern (Ana), Noah Landis (Natalie), Patrick Dwyer (Elizabeth) and Natalyn Wymer (Adrian); his siblings, Terry Landis (Connie) and Virginia Landis; and his brother-in-law Jerry Dupler. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home (405 N Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
