She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Frank Purchess and Mabel Kellermann Purchess; and her husband Andrew J. Batchelor, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Allison J. Batchelor (Thomas Baker) of Athens, Ohio and Andrew J. Batchelor, Jr. (Elisa) of Lancaster; and her grandchildren, Jonathan, Christopher Baker, Courtney and Alyssa Batchelor.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sheridan Funeral Home (222 S Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made payable to the Fairfield County District Library, 219 North Broad St., Lancaster, Ohio 43130 by mail.
