With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Gene Stambaugh of Lancaster, Ohio, who passed away on August 15, 2020 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Gene Stambaugh to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his mother Vivian Stambaugh; and his sons, David and Steven. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Daniel, Lynnette "Netti" (Stephen), Ronald (Tammy) and Traci (Jeff); and his sister Sara "Kitty". He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchild.

Social distancing will be observed and masks are required.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Fairhope Hospice.

“We've known Gary for a lot of years, always funny, was a great reporter of camp ground happenings both known and not known to all. Always had a bright cheerful disposition that will be sorely missed. Great guy who helped us out when we needed it most and helped in a bad health situation for me. This won't be the same place anymore without him here. There should be a memorial and plaque placed in the auditorium with his name on it for all the work he did to get that place in order.”
