He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Hendren and Lela Thompson; and his stepfather James Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his daughter Robbin Hendren (Natalie); his stepchildren, Shane Belcher (Amanda) and Kelli Pinan; his siblings, Aloha Baugh, Jim (Diane) and Sam (Denise); and his niece Lela Baugh Ulmanis (Krister). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special cousins.
