She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Morris and Glenna Nutter Morris; her husband Charles E. McPherson; her sisters, Betty Bashore and Marjorie Sowards; and her son-in-law Timothy Claypool.

She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Jane Claypool; her nephew Jason Claypool (Michelle); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashley and Carley; her close friends, Juanita Claypool, David Claypool, Linda Claypool and Bev Azbell (Willie); and also, Margaret Pfaff, Gloria and Linda Dickson.
