Eileen left this world on December 15, 2024 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Petty and Mae Grace Petty (Lynn); her aunt Faye Lynn; and her brothers, Curtis and Edward Petty.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Thornton; and her children, Valerie Francisco, Barry Thornton, Dorene Anthony and Dalene Dickerson. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Sheridan Funeral Home (222 S Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
