She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Dickerson; and her parents, Joseph Briggs Sr. and Iva Watson. She is survived by: her siblings, Ruth Cochrane, Sarah Oboza, Leenora Benline and Joseph Briggs, Jr.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews including great-nephew, Edward (Melissa) Tucker and great-niece Sarah South, several great great nieces and nephews.
