He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Carpenter and Leota Carpenter (Blosser); his grandparents, Sherman, Helen Carpenter (Dittoe), John and Della Blosser (Glenn); and his close friends, Jim Zink and Frank Fox.
He is survived by: his sister Charlene Carpenter; his cousins, Herb (Ceil), John Carpenter, Diane Shick, Cindy Kishler, Noah (Joyce), Oliver (Mary), Dick Blosser (Carol), Joyce, Cobby, Jean, Maggie, Barb and Doris; and his caregiver Mike Basye.
