With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clayton E. Rose of Lancaster, Ohio, who passed away on November 27, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton William Rose and Thais Jeanette Hutchinson; his daughter April Elaine Rose; and his sisters, Carol Rose and Dorothy Donahue.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy DeVol Rose of Lancaster; his children, Gregori Rose (Cheryl) of Baltimore, Robin Rose of Lancaster and Karmella Rose Valverde (George) of Tulsa; his grandchildren, Carly Weaver (Graham), Matthew Rose (Kaitlyn), Michael Rose (Kaelynne) of Lancaster, Jordan Miears (Michael), Alex Valverde (Sierra), Natalie Lindskov (Noah) and Kassidy Valverde of Tulsa; and his siblings, Lois E. Hutchinson, Silvia Sameer and Donald D. Rose of Logan. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home Chapel - Lancaster (405 N Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
