He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Chapman and Jessie Chapman (Hall); his wife Betty Chapman; his grandson Christopher Chapman; his great grandchild Levi Chapman; his daughter-in-law Delcie Chapman; and his siblings, Edith Osendott, Luther Chapman and Robert Chapman.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Gray (Jeremy) of Lancaster, C. Bruce "Patch" Chapman of Ft. Gay, WV and Kevin D. Chapman; his grandchildren, Benjamin Baisden, Joshua Baisden (Tambra), Christina Wellman (Jason), Jaclyn Hudnall (Jason), Cody Bruce Chapman, Matthew Chapman (Christina) and Mitchell Chapman (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Heaven, Judaea, Christopher, Adam, Zayden, Logan, Sadie, Jackie, Jason, Jacob W., Josiah, Mason, Jacob C., Emma, Landon, Lucas, Callie, Cassie and Jayden; and his great great grandchildren, Aviah and Selah.
