He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Kempton and Mamie Kempton (Dyer); his siblings, Robert Kempton, Irven Kempton, Doris Biechlor, Helen Seymour, Rose and Ann; and his daughter Coralie Kempton. He is also survived by three children.
