He was predeceased by: his wife Jenny Belle Barnes; his parents, Clarence Barnes and Radie Barnes Kinser (Rutter); and his siblings, Nolan, Gladys Lindsey, Martha Clark, Bessie Haddox, Ethel Burge, Roy, Russell and Owen.
He is survived by: his children, Terry A. Perry (Barbara) of Amanda, Karen S. Price (Stephen) of Lancaster, Ohio and Cindy K. Benson (Chad) of Lancaster, Ohio; his grandchildren, Kyle A. Perry (Amy) of Powell, Christopher S. Price (Bethany) of Uniontown, Amber N. Barnes (Ty Owen) of Columbus and Zachary A. Benson (Danita Mottie) of Circleville, Ohio; and his great grandchildren, Andrew "Drew", Carson Perry, Claire and Quinn Price. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
