We bid farewell to Carol J. Vanvelzor of Lancaster, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 27, 2025 at the age of 85. Carol touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ruckman, and Hazel Ruckman, Sr.; her husband Robert E. Vanvelzor; and her siblings, Howard E. Ruckman, Charles Ruckman, Jr., Paul Ruckman, Don Ruckman, William Ruckman, Robert Ruckman, Fred Ruckman, Louella Baughman and Louise Franklin.
She is survived by: her siblings, Richard Ruckman of Thurston and Pat Heistand of Lancaster. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Floral Hills Memory Gardens (351 Coonpath Rd NE, Lancaster, OH 43130).
