He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mildred Hayek-Schmitz; his children, Robert (Kelli), Rev. James, Judy Strodtbeck (Mike), Janet Crute (Roy) and Barbara Fodor (Mark); and his stepdaughters, Jeanne and Janice.
