She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Wissing and Catherine Wissing; and her grandchildren, Kevin Fitzgerald and Stephanie Light. She is survived by: her husband John A. Volle; her children, Richard (Patricia), David, Janette Locke (Dale) and Nancy Gilbert (Richard); her grandchildren, Jennifer Wawszkiewicz, Kristen Zacharias, Sara Volle, Amie Volle, Katie Burton, Jonathan Volle, Ryan, Brandon, Sean and Rachel; and her sister Marilyn Humenik (late John).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Indian School, PO Box 100, Chamberlain, SD 57325-0100.
