With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lou Giffels (Lakewood, Ohio), who passed away on January 4, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard John Giffels; her grandchild Nate; and her sister Joyce Yeagle. She is survived by: her children, Margaret Anne Giffels (Catherine Bachy), Julie Marie Fehrenbach, Thomas Edward Giffels II (Anita Fox), Charles John Giffels, Michael Richard Giffels and Matthew Neuman Giffels; her grandchildren, Ari Bachy, Zach, Robert Fehrenbach, Sam (Nicole), Adam, Joe Giffels, Alistair and Peyton Giffels; her great grandchild Otto Giffels; and her siblings, David, Thomas and Charles Altwies.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Scenic Valley Room at Emerald Necklace Marina (1500 Cleveland Metro Park Dr, Lakewood, OH 44107).
