She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Abernethy and Etta Abernethy; and also Elizabeth Rueter (Betsy). She is survived by: her spouse Lakewood High; her sons, David (late Veronica), Donald (Kelley) and Douglas (Katherine); her grandchildren, Ann (Donna), Ashly (Michael Codispoti), Donald (Olivia), Amanda (Eric Wood), Shelby, Andrew, Sara and Kaitlyn; and also, Alex Hickle, Carter Greene, Zoey Bitter, Chloey Bitter, Oliver Wood and Thomas Bitter.
Remembrances may be sent to St. Peter's Church or to the Class of 1946, Lakewood High School Alumni Foundation.
