Mary Catherine Quinlan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Catherine Quinlan in Lakewood, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jack" Quinlan and Mary "Maizie" Quinlan (Smith). She is survived by: her family Irish; her nieces and nephews, Susan (DeAngelis), Scott Slagle, Ed Knoblauch, Karen (DeAngelis), James Korek, Sara (Quinlan), Randy Slama, Scott Swanson, Cyndi (Quinlan), Brad Crellin, John, Amy Quinlan, Tommy, Faith Quinlan, Mark, Laura St. John, Keith St. John, Ricky Stanley and Jennifer; her great-nieces and great-nephews, David (Nicole), Eric, Daniel, Evan Knoblauch, Christopher, Alex Korek, Ryan Slama, Bradley, Braden, Cael Crellin, Adeline, Jack, Avalyn Quinlan, Imani, Virginia Quinlan, Matthew (Jane), Chris (Ashley), Patrick, Andrew St. John, Avery, McKenzie Palmatier (Wes) and Noah Sherman; her sisters-in-law, Elaine "Lainey" Quinlan and Frances "Fran"; her siblings, Anne "Annie" DeAngelis (Quinlan) and Thomas Quinlan; her brother-in-law Anthony DeAngelis; her great-nephew Aaron Knoblauch; her friend Mary Barb Marks; and also, Jason Knoblauch, Lucas, Benjamin St. John, Penny Palmatier and Mary Barb.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Clarence Church (30106 Lorain Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations in Mary's name to Playhouse Square, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, or the Cleveland Museum of Art.
