He was predeceased by: his wife Maggie. He is survived by: his son Gerard "Jay" Gehring (Nicolle); and his siblings, Shawn Gehring (Rosanne), Brian Gehring (Tami), Michelle Gehring and Kim Gehring Weaver (Dave). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
