He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Alice; his children, Timothy (Ellen), Mary Kay (Bill Weston), Sheila, Kevin (Ellen) and Tricia (Jim Bittel); his grandchildren, Billy, Johnny, Kevin Weston, Kathleen (Josh Basen), Patrick McGinty (Ashley), Sean, Jackie Delay, Grace, Cara, Kate, Clare Kelley, Caitlin and Aiden McGinty; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Abby Basen and Liam Weston; his brother Edward McGinty of Kent Island, Maryland.; his parents, Patrick and Helen Gallagher McGinty of Dooniver; and his father-in-law Herbert John.
