Joann Tarladgis Obituary
The memory of Joann Tarladgis of Lakewood, Ohio, who passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Vlahakis and Penelope Vlahakis (Skoumbis); her former husband Peter Bereolos; her husband Dr. Basil G. Tarladgis; her partner Russell Sorg; and her brother Angelos Vlahakis.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela, Gregory and James (April Blair); her sister Lorraine (Behan); her nieces and nephews, Michael Behan (Tracy), James Vlahakis (Stacy), Elizabeth Flynn and Angela Bigelow (Gary); her friends, Cathy (Sorg) and Tom Sabol; and also Kate Howley. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McGorray-Hanna Funeral Home of Lakewood (14133 Detroit Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
